Morning :)

Hugs for those in need. I was planning to run, but think I need a rest so might do some youtube yoga instead. Anyone got a good video or two?

Working from home today.

I have running kit on but arch pain in my right foot and the dodgy Achilles on the left means running would be stupid. Think I'll hope my bike doesn't have (yet another) puncture. How three inner tubes in a row can go flat when the bike is just in the shed is beyond me.

Morning all

bunting to all those who deserve it for their efforts over the weekend.

Me I managed Bracknell Parkrun (Plus running to and from) on Saturday and then 11 miles yesterday along a lot of the Bracknell Half marathon route. Finished with a 8:45 avg pace run which was really pleased with considering it was run on an empty stomach and without any available gels! Also managed to complete the length of Harvest ride at under 9mm which is a huge thing for me as I always seem to struggle along that stretch of road.

The run is also a huge boost before the real training starts for Wokingham Half which I am tentively setting myself a target of a sub 1:50 finish!

Carp - Have you checked you don't have a nail/pin/thorn in the actual tyre?

Well done RA :)

I've taken the tyres off and run my fingers over all surfaces before putting a new inner tube in.
Just been to the shed and now neither tyre will pump up. I know it's not the pump or the little road bike attachment because it worked fine on Mr Carp's road bike the other day.
I give up on the bloody thing. Looks like I'm walking.

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)
