Morning all.

Can imagine next door's toddler's 3:45am tantrum kept most of southern England awake! Busy day then circuits...

Morning all

Rubbish nights sleep last night too - mainly due to knowing I would be not the most popular person in the office this morning after looking up the company sick pay rules........

Rest day for me today

Poor you JD...

Rubbish night sleep for me too checking the alarm clock every hour as I was up early to catch the first of seven trains today. Waiting for train number five at St Pancras. Running kit is of course packed :-)

Morning all well yesterdays plans went out of the window very quickly.

Firstly slept too long (a rarity for me these days) so woke up with a nice headache! Then was getting up from the sofa and some how either pulled or trapped a nerve in my back which made some of the most simplest of movements downright painful.

Was planning to make up for my lost run yesterday today but cause of the back still being a little off not going to risk it (as was planning on running with a hydration pack to the first time!).

Hopefully will be able to pick up my normal running this week and delay my attempted run for next Sunday!

Sorry to hear about your back Red. Hope it feels better quickly for you.

And sorry to hear of all the interrupted nights sleep last night - hope you all survive today ok and can snuggle down back home soon.

I just did my longest run yet! I knew my running buddy was out of commission for today and that my training plan was ramping up a notch and that did mean nerves woke me a few times last night, but that feeling of elation when you complete what you set out to do!

So taking it slow for the rest of the day. Just a regular check up mammogram this afternoon and then nagging kids to do their homework tonight :-) Right, time for food.

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)
