Morning :)

Hooray for returning / recovering runners!

G'day JC, LD stole my idea, then so did Linds. How about going for a bus ride down to Watsons Bay, maybe a spot of lunch at Doyle's. :)

Morning. Rest day today and physio tonight.

DD2 set a new PB at Club handicap run last night. Having children who run is very rewarding :-) (Though she cannot get much faster or I will be in trouble keeping up)

It is only a matter of time before Leaflet outstrips me and Mr AL - he just needs the confidence to realise how fast he could be! I am hoping we might all four do the Manchester 10k next year - that would be really lovely :)

AR the fish & chips at Doyles are to die for, and even for someone who doesn't like the beach I did like Manly and of course Bondi and the surrounding areas.

Good afternoon all from a sunny hot Santorini.

Have swum today (at least I am doing something) and feeling nice and relaxed. Don't seem to wake up in time for running before it's too hot - might ha e to set the alarm tomorrow.

Have managed to read back on the messages and promptly forgot who did what, who ran and who is injured! Not good at all

TeeBee have you no spare set hidden away in the garden somewhere? I've been grateful on a number of occasions for our secret hidey-hole. (In a big garden there's a lot of places to hide keys so no, we aren't worried about burglars letting themselves in!) I hope you can get in somehow.

LD - no open access to garden except through house which opens straight on to street, so no safe hiding place in front. Contacted dog walker, friend and cleaner all of whom have a key to eithet my or my s-i-l's house (opposite). Dog walker was walking s-i-l's dogs nearby so is on her way!

Worst case scenario was son due back at 4.45.

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)
