Yes you would need a litre of vodka but it is very easy.

Must also pick some sloe berries again this year - think hubby has finished the last of the last batch off now.

Cherry bake well cake, and cup cakes made too. New bike purchase for grandson - he needed an adults bike and will be 9 in a couple of weeks and is almost the same height as me (not hard I know)

*waves from holibobs* Have done some cycling today; 62 miles and over 9000ft of climbing :-) Am a little weary.

Lots of swimming, no running. Might try on Friday.

Have skimmed through. Congrats to Heinzster. Commiserations to those who are ill/suffering bites etc.

ION Fleecy may have convinced me to do E24 as a pair with FM!

Laters potaters.

Loads of runners here this morning. Well maybe 7 or 8 but I don't usually see any so many so it seemed like a lot.

Did 30 mins of hills today and was going to do the club strength session tomorrow but I think I wrenched my shoulder when I fell yesterday and should probably have a rest day before attempting press ups and stuff.

You and FM would make a great team CStar. You might get a prize for biggest height difference in a pair :-)

Good grand parenting MM as well as aunting Kim. And ace cycling cstar.

I misheard topical for tropical at minor injuries this morning - couldn't understand why deep heat was more tropical than ibruprofen. He likes paracetamol anyhow. Think ready break is too fine milled mave, skin is soothed by the rough apparently

I have been hobbling about all day, much easier on pavement, and may be back to gentle jog in 3 weeks. Doc has recommended me a physio to try too so much brighter

I've done 20 minutes of stretching etc - as it happens I brought a resistance band down here ages ago (not sure why ;-)) so I did some work with that and two 4-packs of tuna :-) I've also walked miles today, much of it on energy sapping shingle, so although the stretching was only half of what the plan said I don't feel that I've missed out on my cross-training!

I never knew that about oats. Something new every day... My niece suffers from eczema; I must ask her if she's tried it.

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)

700 miles league table is here: http://www.fetcheveryone.com/training-mileagetargets-filtered.php?category=RUN&mileage=700
