Happy Anniversary Paula and for McGoohan tomorrow.
5 miler this morning was very hard with heavy legs after spinning yesterday. But got it done but did have to talk some walking rests in the last two miles.

Mr Mc is driving Son2 to school for A levels no 5 and 6 (final one tomorrow). Just had a text to say the school is flooded! Exams still on but 'Global Awareness' day is cancelled.

I'm not sure I remember it raining for so hard and for so long as last night. Thunder which went on for hours too. Happy anniversary Paula, maybe take your grandson to a soft play centre instead?  I woke ds1 up early as there is a place along the route he scoots which tends to flood across the entire road and the footpath on one side, so he might have fun getting through there. Though coming back he has to be on the side where the flood is, so he will inevitably get very wet feet before starting school for the day!

Peeing hard here to and they are supposed to be dropping the kerb for our new drive today. Drive s very nice and will be good to be able to start using it.
doesn't look like I will be able to get out on the bike today so I may just run instead tonight.
