Truly AL is wise beyond her tender years Rather than making a drastic change it's good to just be aware of pulling your toes up and trying to relax your lower leg. |

morning. Happy anniversary Molesy and Knitwit I fell asleep really early last night, I was still in the middle of trying to upload my run to garmin. I woke up just after midnight with my phone still in my hand. got an appointment with asthma nurse this morning. I've not really mentioned the trouble I'm having breathing whilst running as I thought it was just me being knackered. however one of the girls on the Tiree running holiday asked me a few times if I had asthma, which I said no. but by mid-week she said that it sounded like I did and gave me a shot of her puffer - it felt like my lungs had suddenly grown and I could take a big breath in. anyway. it might not be that, it could just be that I am just knackered on every run and should just bloody well give it up cause if I cant do it by now there really is no hope! |

Sounds like it will be good to get checked out anyway Star, not being able to breath properly sounds horrid.

Morning all. Happy anniversary Molesy and Knitwit I ran/walked all the way to work this morning, to make up for being a lazy arse last night. Although all the up and down and jumping in the garden must have done something as my legs were tired before I started my run. |

Happy anniversary, Molesey and Knitwit. Youngest Son recognized a Famous Face at Oslo airport yesterday (not that I'd heard of him, as he's famous for football) - David James, used to play for West Ham apparently, and was England goalkeeper. He graciously consented to a selfie with Youngest Son. In Bristol; going home today. |

Star - definitely do not "bloody well give up" - if it's asthma it can be kept under control and won't stop you running.

Happy Anny Molesy and Knitwit! Off to do that 42 seconds now. I'm less worried about day 1 than day 2 which has the 42 seconds following about 4000% more warming up than I normally do ;-). (Anyone interested can have a look on the 9:59 thread. Except ideally I would be aiming for something beginning with an 8.) |

I am following that thread, LD, though with The Knee in its present state I can't actually do any of it.
