I managed 175 today. I put in a little sprint to try and get some clean air between me and Muttley 🤣

I'm doing sets of 12 at the moment, x 3. I got down and after the first one, they went really well so I did 5! It must be time to increase the numbers now.

5180 in June at an average of nearly 173 a day. Pretty damned pleased with that.

Great work Dave, that's huge! I'm trying to do at least 125 a day now but still doing them in sets of 25.
Whats your daily routine? Do you always do sets of the same number and do you do then all in one block or spread through the day?

CW, I'm fortunate enough to have plenty of time on my hands, so time isn't an issue for me.
I tend to do them all at about the same time in my gym routine, and I do two sets of 15 one either side of one minute of core work. So if I do 10 minutes of core, I've done 20 sets of 15 p/ups. I do it that way because of a previously dodgy shoulder that I don't want to over stress as it still periodically clicks like mad if I don't do them quite right.
This works good for me. Am I getting stronger by doing it that way? I think so, and my pecs have definitely firmed up this year. And my abs. Not so much of the moobs now, I'm pleased to say. But no six pack because of the layers of fat still sticking to my abdomen. Middle aged spread.
Do you remember the ads for "Belly's gonna get yer". Well, it does and it has

My theory regarding the belly is that even a thin layer of fat looks like it protrudes if you have a really good sixpack underneath. Because the sixpack is quite thick, and it displaces outwards the very small amount of "insulation", which we can't conceal by holding it in because the sixpack has taken up the available space ... QED.

That's a great explanation of it, M, and I'll be using that from now on if you don't mind.

I think the only way to get six-pack is get your body fat *really* low, single figure percentage. Unfortunately I like too much
