CW: If we're talking CrossFit, as we seem to be, how are you at "Double Unders", ie. skipping but with the rope doing 2 rotations on every jump? (I can't even do one, by the way, and with the weather as it is I'm not likely to get much practice anytime soon) |

I'm rubbish at them too. I haven't done any for a while, but I got up to about 5 minutes duration earlier in the year with a mixture of single foot/ double foot variations. I thought it was really good but found it hard to fit into my routine.

useless at double unders I think the max I got to was about 17 but I more or less gave up when my crossfit gym closed in April. I had vague plans to work on them in the summer but then I sprained an ankle so that was hardly the right time. Next thing I knew, it was winter again. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I do like a box jump though. I was quite good at these before I slipped a disc (biking) but the impact of jumping 50cm down the way repeatedly is not a good idea any more.

Is there an actual CrossFit thread? And should there be? The more I’m mentioning it the more I’m realising that doing CrossFit isn’t like having run a marathon (ie people don’t tell you they’re doing it.😉)
