Ahead of the 2,000 mile curve but in truth know I won't hit those heady heights this year, or ever again. After my last marathon, April 2018, I will be concentrating on quality, not quantity.

I think Chrisull owns the thread and can change that! Actually, how about we put some target races over there -> so we can see what people are aiming at and cheers them on. My next target is Wokingham Half 18th Feb going for 1:27:59, it’s not going to be easy!

After years of being stalled at 1:43:xx I suddenly jumped to 1:39:xx at Wokingham last year off the back of high mileage, sadly that was the peak of my year.

Best of luck cw!

Well i was cruising along at +30% a couple of weeks ago after a really solid start to the year :-) Now i'm just only just about par or so! :-( .. but that is as I come to the end of a 3 week taper ;-)

All being well it should look very different once again by Monday!

Steady enough.

It's all so up and down at this time of year, there seem to be more colds about and it's so easy to lose a few weeks to a stupid niggle because you were too keen. At the end of February last year I was at -60% but made it back to target on 30 December; there is time yet :-)

Yep - only the thread creator has edit rights, not because I'm precious about it :-).
