Lucky you! I have very few fields to run through, unless I drive a few miles to 10 miles away. I have a busy canal path...which I should check out first thing in the morning if I get up very early.

Difficult to navigate if they plant oil seed as it grows to about 8 feet, but they are great to run on aren't they Doc.

I personally don't like them - the crops end up lashing your legs like a million tiny whips

And the pollen from oil seed rape is vile!
Up for a run before a rather more boring breakfast (porridge with banana and blueberries, coffee) before another day slogging away trying to get the garden under control.

Wheat I'm OK with, tripping over beet is lethal, OSR is horrible once it gets waist high. But I still love a good path thru a field.

I find some trails challenging with my dodgy ankles...the slightest unevenness can occasionally make my ankle angry then weakened for a while afterwards.
