Route of the day pic posted by becca7, who probably does more running than most Fetchies. She's doing the London as a training run for the Comrades.

I quite like living in Leicestershire although it's a bit cold, windy and rainy at the moment. I did a parkun sandwich this morning and was glad to get home at the end of it. This weekend, the old rock group Marillion are playing at the Hall which is right by Leicester Victoria parkrun, and one of the band and a ton of their fans turned up to run this morning. I was impressed that the band is still going, though I'm not sure running parkrun is the hallmark of a wild rock'n'roll lifestyle. Perhaps that's why they've lasted so long.

Enjoy London, 1500ers, hope all goes well!

Stevenage parkrun done. I ran slowly but there seems to have been an error and I've been given a time 1minute faster ( and so have both my boys).

Not sure if we will make it to Fetchpoint Garfield, but I’ll certainly try if we do have time (depends how we get on with getting to different points to watch Mr Jenny).

Jono.
becca7 is amazing - ran with her for a little bit during the Blackpool Marathon, that year we met a bloke who was trying to get into the Guinness Book of records for running the fastest marathon in a straight jacket - he did it!

think it was 2010?

6 miles this morning, felt good, slight ache at the rear of the thigh, but the bruise is still there, so I defo think its that and not the Hammy

Think there's a race on somewhere today............................................

My voice is a little flaky now after yelling for several hours on end! Arms sore from holding out oranges, mini-sausage rolls, crisps, jaffa cakes.

Congratters, Doc, well done, and great race support, Garfield - do you feel as though you've run the marathon yourself?

Yes, they had the easier job... I didn't sit down all day....I got off my bus around 0825 and stood until Rosehip and I caught the DLR after 1600.
