Oranj
Managed my first long run since I got injured in March. Very wet and cold by the end, and porridge was required when I got home, winter fuel!
I've gone from -10% to -9% off target. I need 54km a week, which still feels manageable.

Hello! Some good running being reported here, 1500ers, well done all!
Severn Bridge Half Marathon done this morning, in torrential rain which started at 7am and is still bucketing down how at 2.30pm. However, it was a fabulous run, I really enjoyed myself and felt great (despite the total sogginess) all the way round, even managed to speed up a bit towards the end. Best run I've had this year, and knocked 10 mins off my Kimbolton time, too.
Mr JK also had a stonking run, so we are celebrating with chocolate now, and will go out this evening for a HUGE meal.

Well JK and Mr Jk. Last week's training run in Kimbolton must have been the thing that clinched it
Great news Oranj.

Well done Oranj, always feels tough working back after injury.
Big congrats to Jabberknit and Mr jabberknit, must've been tough conditions, especially going over the bridge. Have a great celebratory meal!
