Fab photo Team Jigs!

Hope you all had a good weekend. Well done to JK and Mr JK - it was very, very wet on Sunday, and I imagine must have been very windy on the bridge.

Mr J and I had a very quiet day yesterday after the weekend’s activities. Really enjoyed the event, even though we got thoroughly soaked for the half marathon and the mile on Sunday.

Here are some photos of us from the mile showing how wet it was (there are none from the half, but it was just as wet).

Mr J’s cumulative time for the five events was 4:40:51, 31 minutes quicker than last year, which he was absolutely delighted with, and my time of 3:26:14 was about 7 minutes quicker, so am very pleased.

Thanks :-) Yes, it was interesting conditions Bonners - having done some washing on Saturday evening, we had another full load for the washing machine just from our kit for the two races on Sunday, plus all the extra layers we had to put on in between.

Great pic, the Jigses!

Well jennyh and your OH - it was pretty damp on Sunday, wasn't it?! Fortunately, not too much wind on the Bridge (or perhaps we were all just too soggy to notice).

Ran this morning, managed 5 miles, but had to walk the last mile home then, as the plasters on my race-rubbed heels worked themselves loose and running made them feel a bit sore. (My heels, not the plasters.) Pity really, as I felt OK otherwise.

PS, I like Mr jennyh's custom-made rainproof running garment - very sensible!

Wow, that seems to been done quickly, DocM - I thought it would have taken longer. The Moye Family are clearly outstanding movers!
