Didn't realise there were different types of pacer, Gobi - are there nasty ones too? Get well soon, poorly people.
No running today. Had planned to, brain said yes, let's get out there, legs replied bugger off, we're too tired. So today has been spent mostly on the couch.
Went to see Rogue One with OH last week. First time we'd been to the pictures for years. Quite enjoyed it, though found saving the Galaxy very exhausting.
We had seafood pasta for tea, as it's Posh Fish Wednesday again.

Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs)
Sorry to hear about your labrynthitis Nellers, bad timing with your race coming up
I am sure a rest day was in order jabberknit, rest is good.
I really enjoyed Rogue One as well, not sure what Jigs paid for tickets other than he remarked they were expensive, however the cinema was very comfortable and it was Christmas week.
9 miles that were somewhat hilly, wind was quiet playful too.

Quite right, Jono. I was only doing it because it would be a giggle, as much as 1 muddy, hilly miles ever are. The serious stuff is Gt Bentley and I should be fine by then.

Jabber - Sometimes I pace privately 121 for people who want very specific times.
Eg this Sunday I am pacing 36.45 for a client
Next weekend I am an official race pacer.
90 mins to 2 hrs waiting to hear exactly what they want
Ps..some pacers are dire

Yes, last time I paid any attention to a pacer I remained pretty close to her for 3/4 of the race, then she came across a friend and they shot off together, never to be seen again! Thankfully I wasn't relying on her!

I've only used pacers at the Cambridge half ..... they were fabulous.
Morning all. Was going to be a rest day today, but thought the weather tomorrow could be seriously unpleasant so have postponed it. Today I shall run
