Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Mornin'

Initial twenty minutes were probably the worst conditions of the winter so far in the Fens. But the sun broke through and managed six miles in total.

Well done on reaching 1500 Stu! bunting

Get well soon Wobbler - shame you aren't well enough for your race tomorrow :-(

I ran last night - Mr J was unwell and I hate driving his car so ran to and from the club, it was very cold but at least not icy as it had been in the morning. Running rest day today.

I've donated some platelets at the blood centre for some poorly people this morning.

I'm not allowed to do any "Dangerous jobs" today because of it.
Little bit milder today up here.

Easy 6 miles yesterday, and I'll drag myself out for another 6 in a little bit. Parkrun tomorrow...Stu, where does the Woking parkrun start from? I've never done it, only Guildford, so have no idea where to go. Only one reason I'm going to it - I don't know if you knew Dave Nichols? He was killed on Christmas eve while running with some buddies. One of the older guys is going to be mentioning something about it tomorrow.

Oh dear, Garfield, that is so sad.

Very foggy here today, but a bit warmer than yesterday. No running, it's a rest day. There will have to be some calorie counting in January, I think, so the jeans sit a little more comfortably around the waist. Still some mince pies, cake and chocolate to finish off though.

Friday night is curry night as usual here at JK Towers.

It was horrible...one of the club members mentioned it on FB, then I bumped into Fred (the former coach at Woking AC) when I was heading out for my run yesterday and chatted with him for a quarter of an hour. I know where it happened...I've never crossed there but it's a very fast road.:(
