Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Did the Russian version of Parkrun today and came 2nd, motivated in no small part by the bets placed on me in Horses!

It is Men's Day tomorrow in Russia, so the run today was fairytale themed and they went all out with costumes, food and decorations (The QR codes were stuck onto magic apples!)

Well done JackFW for this mornings 10k.

Well done EdGreig for your 2nd place in the Russian version of parkrun. Nice photos 😀

I ran in the Bartley Park parkrun this morning on a waterlogged and very muddy course. 4 hilly laps resembling a cross country course. In the conditions, I was quite pleased with my 31.04, 92nd of 146 and 1stAG 75-80. WAVA 65.92% and age grade 17th of 146.

Ed: really enjoy the pics. Life in Russia must be interesting.

Jack: keep us updated with your travel plans. Interesting to hear about them.

Thurs night was 8.5 at 8.5 mpm, 24 and a bit mins for parkrun this morning and then 5k at the gym whilst watching the afternoon football final scores roll in.

Great photos Ed!

I was up in Cambridge today so took myself to Fulbourn Hospital parkrun - in the grounds of the hospital. It was flat but muddy. It is my 142nd different parkrun location.

Congrats on your results, Ed and HS.

Nice photos, Ed. It couldn’t feel further from here at the moment.

I ran a quick 5km this morning in the heat (around 30 degrees).

Donnie, we are travelling to Japan in 2 weeks for our 20th anniversary. I am hoping to sneak in a couple of runs while I’m over there. I will post some photos.

Great pics EdG and what a super second position.
Well done in Bartley Park run hs, quite up your street with hilly laps.
Putting in some serious efforts Donnie1, great stuff.
142 different park runs is amazing Mrsb, to think I've not done just one!
30c and giving it some welly over 5k is excellent Jack. Given that I generally run early mornings even if...if..we touch the high 20 c or even 30c I doubt I'll experience such heat.
5.2 miles on trails was pleasant this morning but the mild weather will undoubtedly change again soon.

Donnie1, well done for your parkrun, that's an excellent time. 5k in the gym afterwards watching the footie was killing two birds with one stone 😁

MrsB, 142 different parkruns is very impressive. How many letters of the alphabet have you obtained?

JackFW, thanks. Well done for your quick 5k in 30 degrees heat.

Steve, thanks. It was like a cross country run with all the puddles and mud. It was course E. We have six different courses which are decided on the underfoot conditions. I think that we must be rather unique in that respect.

Well done for this mornings 5.2 miles on trails.

I ran a solo hilly 4.7 miles on roads this morning. It was a tad warmer, but still a cold wind. Back in shorts again 😁
