Well done all the parkrunners. I trotted round my local for a personal worst out of 55 runs there. Never mind.
Congrats falcarius. Sorry you’ve got a cough GG hope it’s not as persistent as mine.
I hope the wee man had a good day Lesley.

Hope you’re starting to feel better Loo, sadly this had caught hold and the pain in my throat and chest when I cough makes me dread coughing. Think my mileage may now stick for the year.
Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and have a relaxing Boxing Day. We are off to in-laws fortunately they’ve both recovered from a recent colds, dad had full blown flu so hoping I don’t give this back. They insist it’s ok to go.

Great plan EdG. 1500k sounds just the job. Pity that colds and coughs are getting in the way of total enjoyment over the Christmas period, hope those who have them are better soon. Well done those who got out to do a park run on Christmas morning. Our Christmas was simply perfect even though my personal running ( walk/ running) remains stuck. Still, been out every day since July 1st and now pondering whether to quit the streak at the end of the year. Two miles this early morning in damp misty conditions on road. It was the quietest morning of the year and I didn't see a single soul. Obviously most people have more sense than getting up early on Boxing Day😂.

I hope that those of you suffering from coughs and colds, will be back to 100% fitness in the new year.
Well done Steve for maintaining your streak throughout the year, and for your 2 miles this morning.
I ran a solo 7k fartlek this morning on hilly roads. I felt surprisingly good, considering that my legs felt heavy during yesterday's parkrun.

9k and a gate to leap over hs! And fartlek too. Ending the year really well hs. A mere mile for me. Now that I've done my highest annual total for four years I haven't got the incentive to do much. Ironically the last four years has been my worst four years in respect of running so my total this year is a miracle!

Your tenacity and showing up everyday got you there. Well done Steve.
This cough is pretty much cancelling out any plans to do more miles this year, but I’m hopeful 4 more would be nice if it is possible. I had a couple of long ones planned out but they can wait until post op now (I have a very busy January planned)
Fab running as always hs

Thanks Steve, back in the good old days, I could vault over gates, nowadays an awkward climb over.
Well done for continuing with your run/walk throughout the year, whilst at times, not feeling like it.
Thanks gg.
I'm sorry to hear that you are still suffering with a cough, which is probably preventing you from finishing the year with as many miles as you had intended.
The supermarket was very quiet this morning, so it didn't take me long to get my shopping. I did the usual Friday Farmers Walk back.
I'm meeting up with a running friend for lunch this morning, in a trendy cafe in the village.

Well done everyone! Steve you are doing amazing, keep going.
I did my local fun run yesterday, a 5k round the village with a hill in the first mile. It's always got a great turnout and it's to raise money for a local charity. I was just under 28 mins I think it's my fastest this year. Would love to be faster again next year.
The wee man has some other cold, but he's keeping going. He did have a 2 hour nap on Christmas day and missed his Christmas meal. But he did eat some after us. We have done a couple of walks this week as the weather has been great. Hoping to get out again later.
