I haven't had any bad comments or ugly scowls. I frequently run into the road to avoid people. If a pedestrian goes into the road before I do, I always give them a smile and thank them. However in rural areas - like ours -people are usually more pleasant and friendly.

HS, I don't expect to climb the leaderboard, as my mileage is likely to be fairly constant at about 24-26 miles per week, with no runs more than about 7 miles.

I'm hoping to be able to model my Avoid Everyone shirt Tuesday morning, since the Post Office is still holding on to mine and they don't deliver anything, ever, until a couple of hours after I get back from my morning run!

And having been pushed back down the table a bit, back to it tomorrow morning first thing! Yes, Gromit, I'm looking at you! Hillstrider is a few days out of reach at the moment. :-)

😂..yeah Mrsb, I was rushing through the year without thinking!

Great to see you knocking out a ten miler Lesley.
I guess I'm lucky re rude people because I'm always back from my run before the masses get out and about. It'll be different when the kids go back to school because invariably there are a percentage of parents who hog pavements and expect someone running to step into the road regardless of traffic. There are too a small percentage of runners who are so impatient as if they were in a competitive event..thank goodness not too many
It'll be interesting to see how many of the current crop of people running continue when the rains come etc! Some "new" ones I see have quite a talent..mainly younger people...and they could nurture themselves to a high standard.
At last I'm getting used to my new Jazz shoes.

I can see that I'm going to have to plan in a longer run later this week! ;-)
ION, it's arrived. :-) Hopefully it's loud enough to deter oncoming rude pavement hoggers! Only trouble is I haven't got a buff to match.....

My Asics 1000 trainers which I ordered on Friday have just arrived. I wasn't expecting them that quickly!

I ran 9.26 miles in the forest with 4 club mates this morning, keeping the required 2 metres between us.

some cracking efforts being ran, well done all :-)

My T shirt arrived when out on my run this morning (intervals 6 x 90 secs of 2 min rec) for 4.55m

Likewise here no issues of comments, but then in a large town (Swindon) so everyone keeps them selves to them selves.

Take care all....

I wouldn't expect any less Mark 🙄

Nice running all, some good sessions being ran.

Well done on your 10 miler Lesley, I've just been steadily building my mileage and managed 14 yesterday.

So here it is....

I wore a black paisley buff so as not to clash with it!
and an extra 0.2 miles this morning, because every little helps!

Oh, and Hello again, Gromit. :-)
