Thanks GG, I've always been competitive, and although much slower these days, do enjoy a challenge šŸ˜‰

I'm sorry to hear about the DOMS, but glad that your legs are feeling better today. Good luck with the 2nd workout, and next week's half marathon.

This morning was a chilly, solo, hilly 10k road run. It turned into a hybrid fartlek, but wasn't meant tošŸ™

I'm tracking my two friends running in the GSR. One had to wait 50 minutes before starting, the other went through 10k in 48.30, so a good finish time is possible.

Damn the Doms gg! Glad they didn't last too long. Hope you have that sensible pre race week then!
Well done on another good training run hs, yes, chilly everywhere early today. 3c here but a non running/walking day for me . I'm in that different frame of mind these days that I WANT to go out and run/walk whereas a few months ago it was all a struggle to keep the mojo going. I'd liked to have enjoyed this morning's sunshine but nothing wrong with just waiting until tomorrow. But ugh. . haven't been able to do weight sessions for a while because I've injured my elbow. GP and possible x-ray next week! Geez.... I'd really fail my MOT these days!!

There seems to have been a definite mindset shift Steve which is good to see.

Havenā€™t managed todays workout Iā€™ll try to do it before bed, travelling home now and supposed to be out for a couple of drinks and food with cousin and husband before they go on their familymoon tomorrow.

Ohhh... training before bed gg! I'd find that very difficult but your schedule is full. You do well doing what you do.
Brrr this morning 3c but nice and dry. Usual run/walk effort in the dark but on roads instead of trails which was a pleasant change. 4 .5 miles .

This morning was a 15k run, the first 10k with the Monday Group in the forest, and the final 5k solo on roads. Very chilly again, but did warm up a bit.

Well done HS and Steve on finding your mojo.
I managed 5 this morning despite falling over in the first mile. ( again) luckily only cuts and bruises.

I'm actually about on the line now! Officially rather than on my rolling number
rolling 365 is 1002m and by the time I get home (run after work) I will be just over (by 1-2m) the line :-)
Fetch says just over 19m a week to get the 1000 which makes be silly happy especially as I am unlikely to hit the 100 this month
