Beautiful photos Lesley, many happy returns of the day to you and LL.

I don't feel much like a spring chicken, but yes think I am the youngest on this thread.

Does brain mashing count as exercise…. Done some yoga and pondering possible job change, back to working with ex colleagues (blog explains). Heck! Excited and stressing in one go. I expect a few poor nights sleep coming up.

Oh! Happy Birthday LL & Lesley.
I've had to resort to running late evening or early (for me) morning, while this latest spell of hot weather lasts.

The only way Evangel. It’s much fresher in Snowdon than my home in Hertfordshire.

Belated Birthday Wishes Lesley of and LL. Nice pics Lesley and not much water in the river right now(?).
Good climbing LL, nice way to celebrate your special day . Haven't read your blog yet gg but I'm sure you'll make a perfect choice...will read later! Reasonably fresh out there at 6am with glorious sunshine and 15c. It does get to 30c later in the day but I've always done my runs at cooler times anyway.
Another 5k along well parched trails.

Well done Steve and Lesley for your early morning runs.
I set off at 8.10 this morning and it was already very hot. I ran a solo 10k in the forest at an easy pace. On the way back, I ran into" the Dibden Doddlers!" I was tempted to join them, but being sensible, and only about a mile from home, reluctantly declined. The Forestry Commission had put large signs on gates warning drivers not park in front of them, as it would impede emergency vehicles. The sign on the gate that I ran through was upside-down on the ground. I don't know whether some dumbbell had taken it down, but I picked it up and replaced it. When I returned, the sign was still up, and the gate clear of vehicles. My good deed for the day 😁
