That was a good workout session Evangel. You are lucky to still have a full head of hair, do you also have a beard?

Well done Steve doing another 5k this morning.

I'm regretting not doing the inaugural parkrun, as pictures and data are being posted on Strava. My two buddies who I was going to run with haven't posted yet. I did a solo 5k on roads, which was a disappointing 28.05, a WAVA of 68.69%. Its definitely slower running solo.

I loved my parkrun today second time at this particular one. Only 32 people. Course PB. I was happy with my time as it’s a muddy trail run. Shame you missed out HS but there’s always the next one.

Well done Evangel.

Great updates well done Ev! And glad you’re still sticking with 1000 Steve.

I did a backyard ultra with some club friends today. I did 4 laps, total of 17.2m (I forgot to start watch on first lap so mapped & added it - every bit is needed)

Well done LL for your course parkrun pb.

Well done Geordieclaus for your long run.

A 7.77 mile forest run this morning, with a 6 minute negative split.😃

That’s amazing GG. 8.7 for me today keeps me ticking over. Very foggy and wasn’t really dressed brightly enough as the fog worsened.

Event or no event? I'd rather like to run Crosby's parkrun, even though I cover parts of it most evenings! However, it's a risk I'll not take. Like the 68 bus to Chalk Farm, there'll be another parkrun along soon! ;)

Titfer or no titfer? Any hat I wear is soon discarded as my inbuilt CH system kicks into life.

32 at a parkrun sounds tempting - well done on the course PB, LL, and your session today!

V good double-figure mileage, gg :) hillstrider, were hills involved in your impressive effort? :)

10pm last night saw me head north along the beach before the incoming tide prompted a tactical shift to the prom! Head torches and LEDs on rod tips marked out the anglers as I turned along Burbo Bank and the dune flanked trails. Passing the roosting swans, I splodged by the smaller lake before passing the former house of the White Star Line's founder. 61 min.

Thirty two runners sounds ideal LL and well run to do a course PB. You're doing good miles too, 8.7 to tick over is way above my current ticking over! ( I won't mention how few miles😂)
You've gotten over your cold/lurgy then gg; good. Impressive distance done there.
10 pm run sounded fun swittle and you're running well too.
Disappointed at 28 minutes 05 seconds for your 5k hs. I should think so too😂! There can be no descriptive enough term for my 5k efforts!!

Swittle, there were hills involved, and as it was an out and back course, there was more downhill on the return leg. I assume you suspected that 😁
Your 10pm run sounded interesting. The mention of the White Star, brought back memories of the White Star Pub in Liverpool Town centre, which was one I used to frequent 🍺

LL, if my inaugural parkrun had had only 32 runners, I would have run it. As it happened, there were 171. I would probably have run it if I had known in advance.

Steve, a run is a run, no matter how far or fast.

This morning was a steady 8 miles in the forest with the Monday Group, which was a birthday run for one of our runners whose birthday is tomorrow. We celebrated after with Prosecco, mince pies and home made cheese straws.
