Another 5k this mild morning which was good enough!
I note for myself after reading your goals gg that I failed in my intervals plan! Next year I'm committing to only running when it's dry, when there is no wind, when the temperature is 5c or above, when it's not too humid, when the mornings are light, when I find the " right" shoes😂!! Some chance!!
I merely want to stay healthy and enjoy a thousand odd miles with the same regime as most of my years. But maybe get a couple of double figure distances in somewhere around April time.

Don’t forget to wait for the planets to align Steve 🤣 nice one swittle I’d love to run at night but too clumsy.

Congrats GG Great mileage I’m hopeful of 1200 which will be my best since 2011.
Easy run this morning.

Well done GG on your 1400 miles.

Thanks Swittle, it was nice relaxing for a change.

You've got the right idea Steve, staying healthy and enjoying your running.

Fingers crossed LL🤞that you will get your 1200 miles.

This morning was 6 hill reps in the forest, starting each ascent steady, gradually increasing the pace, and sprinting approx 50 metres on the flat, over the top. Total mileage including run out and back, 5.12.
Garmin Connect classified the session as "recovery!" Words fail me😬

6 miles with the buggy this morning, was very mild out there. Managed to change my booster to tomorrow so might get a long run at the weekend. Will run tomorrow before though.

Well done GG and LL good mileage there.

Well done Lesley, running with the buggy.

I've entered the Salisbury 10 mile in the Hampshire Road Race League. This would be my first road race since the start of the pandemic. It's in April, so plenty of time to train for it.

That is a great effort Lesley I don’t think I’d be coordinated enough to do a buggy run.

Proper race then hs. Hope the current covid worries really do fade away by then. Knowing how you train I'm sure you'll do well.
Great buggy run Lesley.

Damn it...the planets weren't aligned this morning LL! I only did two miles😂. I'm pleased with my total for the year anyway and it's up there with my efforts over the last four years .
I had/am (vaguely) thought/thinking of dialling back to targeting only 750 miles next year; I've found it quite hard to keep up for this year's total. But 750 would be far tooo easy.....
