Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Well done Geordiegirl, an amazing achievement running 64.4 miles in appalling conditions.

Ran my 67th not a parkrun 5k on trails this morning with my running buddy in 28.49.

Amazing effort GG and an unforgettable experience with your friend.

Are you planning another or is it a one off?
We managed a 5 mile explore of Cromer part overgrown trail which was challenging in the lashing rain, also good fun.
Another great NPR HS.

Sounds like a very enjoyable, but challenging overgrown trail run LL in lashing rain. The rain has held off here so far, but a thunderstorm is forecast for this evening.

We are running our NPR's a bit slower, now that we are into the marathon training.

Thanks guys. I’m feeling so good after the run only suffered with a couple of blisters due to wet feet

I have got The Wall booked for next June which is 70m I was a tad worried as that is a solo effort but I’m sure I’ll be fine.

Next though is Loch Ness mara in Oct

I did it 2019 is beautiful mostly downhill which a few weeks after my first 50k which had way too many steps to contend with killed my quads. Liked it enough to go back (despite the horrendous rain & wind at the start)

Loch Ness was my first marathon in 2017. I absolutely loved it and will definitely go back and do it again at some point. gg yes there is a lot of downhill, but don’t forget the uphill bit around mile 19 😬 I was so happy to get to the top and realise I only had to run 10k down into Inverness to finish.

Oh yes it was a cheeky climb. At least I’m prepared for how long that run along Inverness and back to finish is this time.

A hilly 11k road run this morning. It was very humid again, but I think I'm getting acclimatised 😅
