LL, it seems like Garmin has given some useful advice for a change

I agree about the need to edit posts. It would also be good if we could "save draft" and return to it later to finish off.

It's good you have received your letter at long last steve45 and take your time considering your options.
I'm sure you'll be fine geordiegirl, use the illness as a taper and recovery period.
Well done Looby Loo for your run and hillstrider for your farmers walk.
I think I've covered everyone.
Just to upset Steve and GG I ran 10.49 miles yesterday morning 😁😁😁

A farmer's walk in the rain sounds quite arduous hs. Good on you for continued discipline doing it . Indeed Spencer Davies Group sang a good anthem, I had the single!
I agree it would be good to be able to edit or even cancel posts on occasion as well as be able to save a draft.
Oh dear dear Arghhh to that 10.49 miles!!

I did a measly single mile this morning just to keep up " get up go out" routine .
The somewhat disappointing side of my test results was that I had vaguely hoped that my poor running might have been due to a poor mental attitude and I just needed a kick up the butt and would zip along again at some point. That kept popping up on my outings but I was pushing against the tide after not many strides. Too bad. I'll still get a 1000 miles damn it!

Keep going Steve, 1 mile is better than nothing. Do take your time to consider your options, you do have a great mental attitude - you get up and go out.

You will still be recovering LL and your Garmin knows that! Easy does it.

Hoping you feel better soon GG. The wee man has something this week, he's exhausted and not eating - I had a very rough night I was up so much with him wanting water. He's pretty weak as he's not eaten much since Sunday.

I did a run yesterday afternoon, I finished work early to squeeze one in. So stopped at the bottom of a local hill on the way home. Went up and down in just over an hour (it's just under 3 miles up). Winter has returned here so it was cold and there was a little bit of snow lying. Glad I did it as I wanted to benchmark the route.

Well done FF for your 10.49 miles.

Thanks Steve, the Tuesday and Friday's Farmers Walk have become routine now.

Every mile counts, run or walked, and you are showing great determination to keep going to meet your 1000 mile target.

I'm sorry to hear that the wee man is unwell Lesley, and hope that he will soon be feeling better.

Well done for yesterday's hilly run. We haven't had any snow here in the South, so have been very lucky.

This morning was 4.46 (sorry) miles in the forest, including 5 hilly 0.37 mile loops in the Inclosure.

Little and often is adding to your mileage Steve.
Well done for your hill run Lesley, that's good for your legs.
Are you adding to my mischievous side hillstrider? Upsetting Steve and GG with our non round numbers? Any other time I'd have said 10.5 miles 🤣🤣

I'd need therapy if I had too many non round up numbers! I've got and logged three or four this year and it irks me every time I look back over the weeks!!
Yeah little and often has been my regime for nearly three years, I've got used to it although I still grumble sometimes about what used to be.

Sure hope the little fella gets better quickly Lesley. A hill of three miles is very impressive to do; a pity it's wintry again.
4.3 miles roads this morning with the temperature just 2c. Dry though and calm. My HR was far too erratic for the first two miles even doing walk/run but calmed down then. Going to double check with my other HRM and chest strap tomorrow because peaking at 156 shouldn't have happened. My perceived rate of exertion was very uncomfortable too. Just one of those days.

Lol at GG and your phone and Steve and needing therapy. I just stop my watch at my start/finish points, whichever side of the junction I approach from unless I do decide to round up to a full mile then I'll go past and return but that's rarely on the dot.
I think I've got rid of my mischievous side for a while.
Maybe ;-)
