erm FF you may get into some geordie trouble!! but I have learnt to manage a whole . number but 5.08 would still break me haha well done on the run all the same and also Steve, hs, Loo. I had a run rest day yesterday and out with nephew and my mate for a few miles tonight and long run tomorrow. New backpack has arrivied which is a bit bittersweet as I got stung for £60 import duties/VAT that the company did not make me aware of when I ordered (while they're a french company I figured they had a UK distribution as I've never had an issue ordering from them in the past AND they didnt say the standard may include import taxes at your cost when I ordered) So I hope it is all I hoped it would be as I am not sending it back and losing £60 with nothing to show for it. |

Ahh my mistake LL 🤣 yes it's unusual for me. I did run just 9 miles yesterday too but having done 4 of them at tempo I thought I'd have an easy day as I'm unable to get a run in tomorrow. I rarely do back to backs but do occasionally.

Some good miles being done in here. Well done. I have been busy this week, work has been hellish. I ran on Tuesday afternoon, long hill reps which was good and hard. It was drizzly but not too cold. This morning I was out early this morning for my usual Thursday social run. Got away without the head torch half way round. The lighter mornings are nice. |

5.1miles FF...a good mid distance but a doddle for you and why not?! I'm like gg and can't stand "odd" finishes. Great nine miler with tempo thrown in FF, definitely flying. Having said that I did 3.51 miles this morning and still feel annoyed, I should have made it 3.6. 😂. Have finally reached the break even line after six weeks when I had COVID. Trouble now is that my rest day is Sunday and I'm not up to doing six miles tomorrow. Not fit enough which remains frustrating after so long . Ouch to the import taxes gg so hope the back pack has a long life. I'm sure it will serve you well. |

Missed your long hill reps Lesley, yes the temperature has risen at last. Nice too that mornings are not as dark now and you can switch off your head torch although we go back a bit in two weeks time when the clocks change.

I know Steve, but it will be lighter again quickly (I hope). Then in a few months it will be light at 4am and not dark till after 10pm. 15 mins on the rowing machine today and some core work. Keeping it more upper body as a legs workout last week meant I had tired legs on Saturday. Good to see you have caught up with your miles Steve. You can only do what you can. That's annoying about the import tax, never used to be an issue. We had to pay on some supplies for work, it comes from Italy but there is no UK supplier. It's irritating. |
