Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

But that's next month, Sigh!

I forced myself out to do 13.69km this morning, and then also ran around the block once more just to be sure I cleared 100 this month. I'd like to have done 10k more to bring the total up to 1350 for the year, but as it is I'm actually quite happy to stop at my highest annual total in 19 years of 1,344.57 miles. šŸ˜

It was a painful run in a couple of ways - I'm nursing a headcold/sore throat (which feels much better for having thoroughly oxygenated it!) and I tripped a couple of miles in. I have sudocreme on the four contact points now! The shower was fun...not!

1501.46 for the year:-)

The half marathon today, on the same route, was 2 mins faster than yesterday.

Well done everyone, I see that 50 of us have made or beaten our targets.

I ran 9.3 miles this morning with a running friend in the forest. It was actually more walking and wading through mud, than running.

MMM - it was a brilliant morning for running! Cold, but with clear skies and sunshine. There were far fewer other people on the tow path which made it easier to run. Sadly poor diet choices over Christmas meant a lengthy loo stop - it is almost comical to see how much faster I was post loos stop than before!

Well done Lesley! Not just the running, but setting up the new thread... I was going to ask but didn't want to get landed with a job that was way too technical for me! Just off to see if I can remember how to set my target for next year....
