An icy 11 miles for me this morning puts me well ahead of target, though it was a bit too fast. Kept trying to tell the others its meant to be a long SLOW run, but I was too out of breath from trying to keep up to form coherent sentences

I'm up for it, but a chest infection over Christmas has slightly dampened my flying start!

Winter Tanners 20M today. Not going to log it as part of my 1000 because I ran less than 1 mile of it. The course was very hard, hilly and full of mud - and I do mean mud! I take my hat off to Surry LDWA for organising the event which only cost me £2 to enter. I also take my hat off to all those ultra runners who ran/jogged the 30M course. May well do this event again next year...........
