I try to do my treadmill runs first thing before the lounge has warmed up - it's pretty nippy after the heating's been off all night. And I have clip-on USB fan. I still got through two buffs around my head to catch the sweat today, though. |

Yeah we used to have the treadmill in the study but was always either too warm to run or too cold to work π€·ββοΈ. Now it's in the garage and by opening the garage door and a few windows I can get a decent breeze π

Our garage is that Baltic I have to wear gloves to pick up my weights, often think about getting a dreadmill but I just hate them. Well done that was def a big TM run

I hate treadmills. Runs for me always seem to last way longer on a treddie.

46.9 / 100 after a nice parkrun yesterday at Portsmouth Lakeside and an hour round Gosport. Back up in Chesterfield now. Another treadmill hater here - yucky things. |

A big week for me this week takes me to 127km / 79mi. I'm trying not to get carried away so i'll aim to hit 100mi on Wednesday. It's a hard pass from me on the dreadmill. I'd be quite happy heading out for a 2 hour run outside, but even 20 minutes on a treadmill sounds awful to me! |

My treadmill is in the garage. If it's cold outside it's cold in there too.

In the winter before my treadmill finally gave out completely, it developed a trippy sensor somewhere so you'd run for 10 minutes and then come to an abrupt and startling halt! Mr Ness worked out that a strategically placed portable heater set on a timer about half an hour before my planned morning training run, kept it working! The things I did to keep training in the winter while I was still employed! π
