Definitely some solid running!

I’m going to attempt a little walk/run today to see how I feel. It will be short & slow but feel the desire to try which is the first time in what feels like a million years.

Hugs poppy x

I'm seeing some high mileage considering we're only just past half way through the month. Great running, folks.

After my zero in April, I finally ran again at parkrun on 7th May. This broke six full weeks of not running.
The plantar has still been rearing its head a bit. I've been giving my feet a rub, with some pressure from my thumbs where it counts, and it does seem to have helped to calm things down.
Bit of a quicker parkrun (sub-25) on Saturday. Accelerated in to gaps in the field, and didn't dial it back afterwards. Comfortable, too, so that was a confidence booster.
Much steadier 10k on woodland surfaces on Sunday.

It's not going to be a 100 mile month, but I'm pleased to be back in motion.

64.5 after 8 this morning.

The knee is fine, no issues so it was the right thing to do to rest it.

Rosehip
Shorter than planned ‘long’ run. 9 and a bit, much too warm and struggling with the pollen levels, very slow miles

I’ve been out!!!! Slow steady listened to how I felt and I won’t lie I felt tired but my chest seemed ok. Touch wood no coughing while out or since I got back.

3.5 so 33.5/whatever it will be.

Fingers crossed.

Get out early, Rosehip, and if you're lucky the trees won't have dumped they next load of pollen yet! And/or the overnight dew/cool air will have dragged the last lot down to the floor.
Or when it's raining - that works too. (I find its the buckthorn at the moment that gets me!)
