Steve you’re doing what you can & that’s fine we all have times the plans we want do t happen but you keep showing up. AL wow huge well done CasB I have been having trouble with my calf it was presenting itself as a foot pain my physio proscribed active rest where I spend time foam rolling the calf & strengthening the leg this is his webinar on it. His mindset is totally rest it it will settle down but you’ve not done anything to correct the issue. Working on the strengthening and stretching will fix the issue. Good luck and huge mileages so well done. Thanks for the good wishes I felt worse than I did when I had actual Covid last year but a day in bed shivering and sleeping I’m feeling a bit better now. Fingers crossed I can plot 5 tomorrow. |

Thanks gg, and hope you're recovered for your 5 tomorrow, take it easy. The webinar sounds good, I'll take a look - completely agree with needing to fix the core issue. I had something similar last year which the physio thought was linked to having torn the hamstring in the same leg a few years back and the calf has worked harder as a result. Suspect it's just reacting to starting track sessions and I've also been trying to lift my cadence a bit. Time to refocus my strength sessions on calf raises and hamstring and glute work!
