You're not, :) G. Not in a minority of one, I mean. Singing the praises of running in the rain was fashionable back in the old days of RW. I used to wonder if I was failing to understand something or if people were protesting too much. Fortunately, there was also Gobi ;)

I make no comment on your assessment of your own sanity :P

I do not enjoy running in the rain, however, I ran a half marathon (my first) in June 2015 and it started raining as we got to the start line and just didn't stop. In the last couple of miles there was a very steep hill and the water just cascaded down it. Drenched to the skin but I finished with a smile and thoroughly enjoyed the race however if that had been October I'd have got in the car before the race started and driven home I think.

Pam runs my cadence was only low 170s on my lunchtime jog and my stride was short enough for me

Went out for a lunchtime run and predictably I got wet from a couple of passing showers and hail stones as well - :-(

Like others, not a fan of the rain but had to be done as busy later - 21/100

Gobi I don't know if it's just because I'm trying to quicken cadence and concentrating on that but I'm not hearing my feet stomping as much. So it's sort of a success. 😁
