10 days of no running due to little C - made it to gym tonight, so running will resume tomorrow. Gently. Ness hope your calf improves. Injuries are a bugger but they go eventually. G |

3M (aka MarkyMarkMark)
A null return from me today - a planned rest in advance of Sunday's race. I'm starting to get slightly twitchy about it now!

Thanks, HappyG and geordigirl. I'm hoping to get out there soon. 🤞 You'll be fine, 3M. Bound to have pre-race nerves though. |

Keep calm and try and enjoy the rest Ness, the rest of your body will appreciate it. 92 as my journey continues with 10.99 this morning 100 will come up at worst on Saturday but possible it may happen tomorrow |

Hadn't picked up that you were injured Ness, a few days off won't set you back with your strong base in the bank. Hope you're ok soon. No head bobbing with my head torch...ideally one's head is pretty level when we run (?) but the body is more "active"-- someone came up behind me this morning and their light beam was shifting around from left to right from their chest torch and missing their footfall frequently. I guess though it's what you get used to but.... roll on next Spring!! 47/100 after a run in the dark. |

50/150 after this morning's run.I had to wait till it got light as not prepared to run in the dark in my new home.It was different in old home as run there for 30 years on and off.Maybe in a few years time.

Fitness takes longer to lose than we tend to think it does, Ness (Except maybe with bloody covid and then who knows!) To and from the gym totals 4.8 this morning and 27/100. |

I agree, Rosehip, hopefully the marathon training will mean that I'll make a good return once I get started. And with post Covid training it's very important to take care, i think.
