now i have decided it is ok (a la Autumn Leaves) to chase 100 a month but 1000 a year....

You know what, Maz. If it hadn't been for this group I'd probably have just kept plodding. I might not make it this month - life gets in the way next weekend - but I will definitely make it this year.
And along with this I've lost over a stone in weight and my default easy running pace is a minute a mile quicker, and I "jogged" parkrun, not flat out with plenty more left in the tank, and without looking at the watch, in 24:xx last weekend.
I am really enjoying myself just now.

175.5/100, another off-road sunny 12-miler. And 260+ miles in the last five weeks, all training, no racing. 260+ miles is probably the most mileage I've ever achieved in a five week without cheating and including racing mileage e.g. four marathons in four days
