Well, I got them done after the event (and only because none had been done by Asics/Brathay), so no

Ah.
Seems like a good idea though to do something now, I have a number of marathons in sept/oct/nov and would be good to advertise the sponsorship bit.

I would advise not waiting for something official, but get some of your favourite racing kit printed up yourselves.
You could have my remaining t-shirt and vests if you don't mind having "World Record 41:06:47" on your back

Yep, there's a spare medium 2010 technical vest if anyone wants it (currently in Foxy's possession).
I think it would be a massive boost to your sponsorship if you could get some kit made up and wear it to races and in training. It gets a lot of attention.
The place I used would probably do one offs too, it's called Motifs and Richard there was very good. A little slow, but very good and reasonably priced.

theres a challenge to run exactly the same time as V'rap so you can have the T-shirt !
I wonder if Asics will supply kit again ? I cant see that they got a great deal out of the deal - espevially with some folks wearing the previous years Ron Hill stuff !

Nah, got them done afterwards because there was a general agreement that it would be nice to have a race t-shirt, like you get at not a few marathons, and because none had been sorted out by Asics or Brathay. We were led to believe that the race vests would be branded, all the way to when they arrived, 20 minutes before the gun went on day 1.
