Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Well done Ally.

Feel like I'm in treacle now - and hence my training seems mundane.

Got to 9049 by April 27. Only added another 639 in the near three months since.

Managed my all-time highest mileage month in July, plus did quite a bit of running while on holiday, so my current circle count is:

6720 circles to date (+1703 since 30 June)

of which running = 5473 circles (+1626 since 30 June).

I think it's going to slow down a bit over the coming months, unless I take a few more holidays!

Well done @Funky Chicken :) Holidays definitely help!

I'm on 13744 total (increase of over 1000 since the end of June, mostly from cycling) and 6601 running (increase of 112 since the end of June, almost entirely from a couple of races). I'll be somewhere new next week which should help push both totals up.

Well done all, particularly those who've smashed it already!

Long runs aside, I'm now at the point locally where to get more blue circles, I'll need to run to a particular estate several miles away and then zigzag up and down all the neighbouring streets before running back home again afterwards. At least I've got plenty of roads to choose from - it must be tricky for anyone living in the countryside with lots of private land about!

About This Thread

Possibly the only achievement in Fetch that isn't rewarded by the granting of badges, we are now in the Nth year of trying to get 10,000 of them. The blue shapes represent the number of different places we have exercised in, a place being an area of - someone correct me - maybe 50m^2 or 100m^2, and only as recorded on a GPS-tracked excursion.

Find your blue shapes in the training log in three simple steps:

•at the top, change the date to "All 2024"
•on the next line, set a filter ...
