Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Possibly the only achievement in Fetch that isn't rewarded by the granting of badges, we are now in the Nth year of trying to get 10,000 of them. The blue shapes represent the number of different places we have exercised in, a place being an area of - someone correct me - maybe 50m^2 or 100m^2, and only as recorded on a GPS-tracked excursion.

Find your blue shapes in the training log in three simple steps:

•at the top, change the date to "All 2024"
•on the next line, set a filter if you only want to include running
•and beneath the list of all the years you have run in, select MAPS from the line that says Entries/Calendars/Graphs/Maps/Totals.

A map will appear. In the top frame of the map, there is a line saying You have explored nnnnn circles during this period of training. This thread is for those of us who are aiming to get nnnnn to be 10,000 or more in 2024.

As a guide, in 2022 I had 11,000 circles from 700 miles of running.

And to add to Chris’ instructions - if you can’t see the options, check your settings -

… but I looked in Settings and I needed to check a box to turn tabs on - problem solved - thanks - but the instructions need this addition:

Thank you. I'd have included that if I had my laptop but it's too mentally demanding on my phone.

(I suffer with that too, Chris. Fat fingers and small screen doesn’t help either!)

Just looked at 2023 and I made it to 8000. Now if there was a badge… 😁

I'm in again. Made it last year but not this. I'll be including all types of training.

I shall be collecting circles once again. Didn't even get to 9,000 this year, so hoping 2024 will see me wandering a bit further.
