Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Not sure exactly when but I've finally sneaked past. Months behind when I got there last year.

Well done those who have already smashed the target or are within close sight of it.

3/4 of the way through the year and it's looking achievable with:

8578 circles to date (+1263 since 2 Sept)

of which running = 7422 circles (+1085 since 2 Sept).

I'll be scaling back the long runs pre-marathon, so not yet sure if I'll exceed 10000 just from running alone.

16034 total, 8609 running. I've got a good chance of getting up to 10000 running circles by the end of the year (a couple of races in different places in the UK, a trip to Valencia including the marathon, and I still have some useful running routes a short drive from home that I haven't touched this year). Getting my overall total up to 20000 will be harder.

Surprised it was that high considering the lack of training this year.
Other years must have been better.
Now going to check.

My Tour de Yorkshire last week bumped my walking/running total up 5,420, so with a couple of months left, I might just make my current target of 7,000.

7265 after grabbing a few more yesterday. There's a plot in place to buy a camper van so I can get further afield in 2025 :-)

About This Thread

Possibly the only achievement in Fetch that isn't rewarded by the granting of badges, we are now in the Nth year of trying to get 10,000 of them. The blue shapes represent the number of different places we have exercised in, a place being an area of - someone correct me - maybe 50m^2 or 100m^2, and only as recorded on a GPS-tracked excursion.

Find your blue shapes in the training log in three simple steps:

•at the top, change the date to "All 2024"
•on the next line, set a filter ...
