Caught the running bug around 15 years ago when in my late 30's and joined Northbrook AC briefly in the early 00's and promptly picked up IBS which kept me out of the game for over 12 months, so I lost my mojo. I was unattached for several years until prompted by a mate I joined the Sphinx AC running club in late Autumn 2005 and despite several false starts and niggly little injuries have started to chisel away at my times, regain some sort of fitness and entered races that I would never have entered if I'd been running unattached. Awaiting a knee operation (which took place in Dec 2014) I purchased a road bike and really took to cycling while I couldnt run. Now Ive joined Coventry Road Club and re-joined Nortbrook RC in a bid to get back running fitness during 2016.
