Boycie Tough race! Conditions weren't ideal - hot and a headwind for the first 2 miles! Good field meant I was able to close people down throughout the race. Also the course wasn't really flat as billed, and had a small but continuous incline between miles 3 and 4, as well as a sharper hill in mile 2. Splits 5.48, 5.51, 5.58, 5.59, 5.52...

KazzaBum I went off way to fast and had bad stiches by mile 2. Had too walk for about 100m half way round. Couldn;t get my breath!

Mrs F 1st 5 mile race, currently suffering with a bad cold, so anything will be a PB! Local race though and have watched the Fox run this for 2 years, about time I tried it, just a bit worried about the big hill he kept going on about post race! Nice course -with a lot of gradual up hill bits! Last mile or so is nice though as it nearly all downhill! 48:47 on the garmin so qute pleased after my bad cold!
