About this parkrun

Flat, out and back course round three sides of Victoria Dock. Passes under the Emirates cable car serving O2 and under London City Airport flight path. Relatively small numbers means not congested and fast times possible.

Flat on pavement and cobbled sections out and back along the north, then south side of the dock. Interesting to see old cranes and the view across the dock. Didn't try driving, but Royal Victoria DLR is pretty close or come by cable car.

A super flat paved 'PB-guaranteed' course. Horseshoe shape. Down one leg and back (2 miles), then down the other leg and back (1 mile). Super friendly, toilets near the start, free tea/coffee/chocolates at the end.

can be cancelled or route revised due to works/other events. Only one toilet in the community hut - when event sets up. getting congested. more street furniture as the area develops. Car Parking - expensive. Closest cafe opens at 10 am.

Friendly and flat, some cobbles underfoot and temporarily a double out and back due to building works. Very handy if you're off to the Excel
Krispy 14th Nov 2021

Currently they have altered course so all on the North Side. Twice out and back to middle of Excel. If there is an event (like the ComiCon today ) it can get busy near Excel with crowds to avoid. Flat course and I got a PB :)

3 out and backs on flat hard surface by the dock. Start finish right next to the Cable Car station. Quite a few obstacles on course and gets busy with 3-way passes in places but great course and friendly team. Wear Road shoes.

Lovely cable car to start after Northern line out of Euston change at London Bridge on to Jubilee line to North Greenwich. Twisty hazard strewn course flat but bollards & other runners make it a bit frantic. Lovely views of planes, Cranes & 02.
Foxy 18th May 2024

Bizarrely wonderful. Not too busy after start. Lots of street obstacles. Totally flat. Free cable car to park runners. Great fun

Risk assessment must be insane for the RDs here as so many potential hazards. I got hit in the head by a pigeon, bloody flying plaguerats
The Mussile 23rd Nov 2024

Flat, paved, some cobbles but nothing bad, 3 out-and-back laps, flat. Very, very fast - serious PB potential, alongside water. (Original 1-lap 'U' course was better). If you're feeling extravagant, you can arrive by cable car.
