Doctor K Pb last time out here and bettered it at Birchwood on 19th Aug. As this is even flatter than Birchwood if conditions are right then I'm going for a new Pb here. result -failed ! set off at a suicidal pace which caused me deep distress at 7-9km, that coupled with warm sunny conditions did it -a stupid strategy.

ellew The elusive 50 mins still eludes me but a PB!! Hoorah!!!!!! Official time was 51:09 although Rich1973 informs me we didn't cross the start line for 11 seconds. So I can get 50 minutes something.......

Hev Great race and a PB too - at last!! Struggled from 8K but dug deep and managed a sprint finish at the end...Thanks to the Swinton runner who kept egging me on from 8K - a huuge help and I didnt get the chance to say thanks as I couldn't speak!!!

LambChop HUGE PB for me, really pleased with my time. I put the new found speed down to the thought of Grafter's flapjacks waiting for me at the finish! Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
