Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

chrisallen Only my second 10k. For no good reason whatsoever, started off near the front and tried to keep pace. Set off very fast but there was no way I could keep it up, especially in blistering heat, and slowed considerably in the second half. Nevertheless delighted to finish in a shade over 40 minutes.

Rach E Decided to enter this at 10pm the night before so maybe I could have prepped better BUT it will be a sub-40 attempt. ***UPDATE*** Well chuffed. It was so so hot and was therefore amazed to go sub-40 by such a long way. Splits 3.32 3.48 3.49 7.51 (4 & 5 as missed marker) 4.01 (drink station) 3.56 4.05 4.12 3.51. I think first k may have been short and made up for in 8th and 9th ks as there was no way I ran the first k in 3:32. I was too hot (I NEED TO CUT MY HAIR!) but felt I was running within myself all the way round. This would be a fast course in cooler conditions. Nice to meet fellow fetchies Tarange and JohnJ. Time on watch was 39.09.
