Jambon I had planned on making this a PB race, 1st problem was lack of miles in my training leading up to the event. Bar a 7 miler I rarely managed to push on further than 4 miles due to my 2nd problem, a tendon niggle in my left foot. So totally shocked and chuffed with the time considering I didn’t believe I was going to finish. Pure grit and determination carried me up the 2 mile climb from the welcoming pub in Barrington

JC_80 First half marathon, running under race number 97.Challenging first hill and a nasty 3 mile hill from around 7 1/2 miles in.. overall though it felt as though the majority of the race was up hill and as such the down hills were soon forgotten :) Great experience, looking forward to doing a more flat one next time!
