CrazyLegs Very well organised race it's just a shame about the dodgy course! It was a pity that more people hadn't come to watch the runners. Good beginners run.

Fat Man Runs This race has fantastic organisation and atmosphere pity it's let down by such a dog of a course (albeit the final k is better).

I've had enough of running around decidedly dodgy housing estates and all the undulations of going under those underpasses.

Tamworth Heart Runners do a great job, it's just let down by the town - I know they can't help it but it kind of turns you off going again!

Greenman Due to hamstring problems, this one was a jog out just to see how things went. No real reaction from the muscle so hopefully will be fit enough for Bury 20 next weekend.

Jam My first race, really enjoyed it. Bit crowded at the start but I think that stopped me running to fast for the first couple of K's. Definitely be back for this one next year.

Neil Oldfield Much better route than last year, only prob was the start isnt big enough for all the people that enter, so the first Km or so was really slow, still managed a PB though. The finish through the town was good as well. Very well organised, just not the most scenic of runs. After last year, really didnt think Id enjoy this or run well...wrong on both counts!!!

Ness OH dropped out of this race 10 minutes before the start!! Was hoping to use him a a pacemaker! Despite that, the training had gone really well so don't know what happened to the time. Oh says my weak hip muscles are restricting my stride length so I've reached the point where I won't be able to improve my race times. Not sure about that myself. Did enjoy the atmosphere of the race though :)

phal Enjoyed that run, but thought my legs were going to drop off after the first 2k! Went out a little too fast!!! Pleased though as a new PB :o) Pinchi - that was me who spotted you :o) As I said - in a fetch t-shirt you're hard to miss :o)

Pinchi A well organised race, and I thought the course was an improvement on the previous couple of years - although I did miss the burnt out car. Finish through the town centre was good. Hello to the fellow Fetchie who spotted me at about 2k - struggling to breathe at the time, so hadn't much to say - sorry! Nice medal and goody bag - kids loved the space blanket! Time about where I guessed having not been able to train properly for 3 weeks through illness.

taulpaul Third year of running this race and still as good as ever. It doesnt seem to matter that its not at all scenic as long as its well organised with a great medal. Not a great time for me but i haven't done much training so it was to be expected really. A good first race of the year.
