About this parkrun

fast and flat, park nr waitrose and jog down hill. congested. out, laps of lake and back. they may have changed course since i last did it. my pb course.

Nice flat route round a lake (2 and a half loops). Does get very busy and can be hard to pass if you are at the sharp end.

Heard the course has changed since last visit slightly due to congestion.

Fast and flat. Parking if you arrive in good time. Toilets near start. Mix of tarmac and grass. Cafe in the the park. Course improvements have made it less repetitive and less congested

Fast and Flat, but with some sharp turns. Roman ruins, great scenery and a pretty lake!

Nice park in St Albans easy to find very close to station also car park in Leisure centre free for 2 hours (but you still need to get a ticket to register your reg). About 1k jog to start and a very nice ala Bushy style start 3 flattish laps.

Very flat parkrun around a lovely park. Three laps of the lake.

Starts on grass then tarmac paths around a lake. 3 loops on the last one turn right to the finish. Lovely course and marshals.
Slightly uphill from the bottom of the lake. Big field normally puts me off but a wide start meant no congestion. Toilets.

Fast and flat tarmac course, is busy though so weaving skills required.
Now slightly better, course changed and less weaving required.
