Boab Ran this at marathon effort. Had an absolute stinker of a hangover and ran 6 miles to start, then the six miles home.

RichyC Tough head wind after the first mile until just after half way. Couldn't push as hard as I would've liked on the way back but overall a decent test to see where I'm at after summer hols and going into autumn marathon training. Was good to finally meet SBA at the end and catch lexo and boab. official time 37.26 - 27th of 409

Ribenaface (RFSQL) Watch time... my usual couple of seconds over 40 min yet again (must do better). I quite like out and back courses cos you get to see the right speedy buggers come steaming back past you, whereas normally they're just chilled looking rangy blokes hanging around at the finish. Interesting phantom headwind that died halfway to deprive us of much needed tailwind though. Great to see fetchies both racing and photoing!

Lexo Spent the mid part of the race skulking behind well built blokes trying to stay out the wind. Felt Ok to the turn but what happened to the wind on the way back!!! Typical. Not one of my favs this to be honest. little bit of a bland route for my liking and there isnt much support apart from the other runners and marshals and also Bob and Ellem half way round cheering us on and taking photos, and some rather bemused looking tourists having sunday tea and cakes at the cafe on route . Well organsied though ,but expensive for what it is. Not sure re the starting the 5k and 10k at the same time which was a bit odd. Nice to see the usual suspects....RichyC,FB, Ellem and also had a few words with Jamborigg and Boab at the end who seem to bee both very nice gentlemen. Also well done to CraigyW for knocking 2.5 mins of his PB!.

Mr. White flat and fast - except for that chuffing small incline at the end. Hoping to PB (again!) on this one...

*update* well I did PB (by 50 seconds) but am a bit disapopinted to not go under 45 minutes, oh well, not that important, bring on the next one :)

RachL Lovely sunny day, good route out to Cramond and back along the Forth but exceedingly windy going out and very hot and strangely still coming back. Small but cruel hill just before the finish line. Sure I was running faster than last weekend, but almost 2 mins slower. I'll blame it all on the wind...

Triplet Dad Lovely course but tough going into the wind along the prom, I felt I ran better than last week at Musselburgh but finished 2 minutes slower :-)

Dvorak Happy days. Really enjoyed this and felt I put in a decent performance (third fastest 10K). Felt in the upper comfort zone pretty much all the way round, quite a contrast to Musselburgh. Last week, 87th percentile, this week 61st. Must have been the cup of coffee beforehand. (Watch time).

-caz- Chuffed to bits with my effort, obviously my best 10k time in 2009, possibly cause its my first 10k road race of 2009. Bet my prediction, after Julys training I was secretly trying for sub55min so wasn't a million miles away from it
