Chrisull Started quite some way back, but didn't panic, picked up pace. Ran something like a 48/45 negative split in the end, never felt too taxed in the heat.

firstofficerspong I am running under an assumed name for this one (thank you mud from Exeter!). I probably haven't been getting enough miles in but we'll see won't we? Good practice for Torbay in June. UPDATE: Finished 39th, 7th V40, 3rd EVH. I'm pretty happy with my time and very happy with position, but I really struggled from mile 9. I lost a minute from there on the 2nd lady who I was running with to that point, and was overtaken by 2 guys in the last mile :-(. I think I need to take some calories on board during the race, but I've never tried gels seriously. Excellent day though, I enjoyed it. My girls all came to watch so it was good to do well for them :-)

Nailsea Plodder What a great day. Brilliant organisation. The hill thru Saltram did for me, but still happy with the time, especially given the heat.
