Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Alun Not sure about this one, 5 miles further than I've run but have covered a fair %age of the course on the Cock Inn runs (10 & 11 miles) in 2006 and 2007.

Wow, what a race! Took it relatively easy, went through 10K in about 47 mins but that's where the big climbs start.
Happy with the finishing time and would have been a bit faster if I didn't stop at the first 3 water stations.

Mud Rocs 14.50 minutes faster than 3 years ago - position 79th out 407. Great race - the route was happily free of overgrown paths which must have taken an enormous amount of work, lots of friendly marshalls and just the right amount of
water stations - all in all a perfect trail race.

mxhornet Looking to go a bit quicker than last year.

Update - the gamble of running for best part of six hours previous Sunday backfired as my knees seized up and I slowed in later stages.

rangermouse1967 This race without doubt is the hardest race I have ever run and that includes the marathon. The hiils are relentless the scenery is beautiful and the marshals first rate will do again next year but will train with some more long runs next year.

Runna Brilliant. Organisation and marshalls were fantastic. The course is tough but beautiful, I run these trails regularly and it was obvious that a lot of hard work had been done clearing the paths. Lovely atmosphere at the finish with great cakes, free massage and very nice silver anniversary t shirts. A bit disapointed with my run, will be back next year to try and improve.

tramps Great course & great organisation. Some tough hills. Finished with a PB despite taking it as a LSR and struggling over the final couple of K with a calf problem (again !!).
