Edmondo Another windy experience in South Kintyre. Beach section tough with the tide pretty high meaning you had to skirt the water to find the hard sand! Hugely enjoyable nonetheless and well organised. Felt pretty comfortable all way round as I wasn't pushing it. Delighted for local lad Kenster who ran a big race to finish second.

iceblue Had a great race today! Felt really comfortable on the road, even in the last few miles, and delighted to get round in sub 1:50! Found the beach part really hard, trying to run on soft sand and stones, then over the undulating golf course track which really drained the energy from my legs. Recovered quite quickly although and kept the pace steady until the finish. A big well done to kenster who was second overall behind Paul Arcari.

kenster Disappointed with the time and don't think I pushed hard enough.Really struggled after the beach section.Apart from that I am pleased with 2nd overall and first local.Another well organised race and great attmosphere to finish,and super goody bag.
