soreeneater Can't see this being a quickie. Hilly though I've no idea how hilly as I have never done it before. That was the worst race I've run in, in terms of being icy underfoot. First mile was 8:32. Pushed on a bit after that and tried to catch the O50's in the club. Managed to pass Alex about mile 3ish. Went by a few other PFRs. Last mile in 5:14. I know it was downhill, but there is no way I could run that fast EVER!

Minnie Mad It was tough and mostly up hill. I felt sick between 3 & 4 miles I think it was because it was so tough. I was so pleased to finish in under the hour.

Winniefree Putting a conservative estimate on my time due to the reported hilliness of the race and the lack of training due to the snow. Not conservative enough!! I hadn't factored in the icy roads though, no chance of powering downhill on the more isolated stretches.
